What is SNMP?
The SNMP is a protocol that enables the equipment to actively or passively send an error or informative message to any remote place*.

You will have online information about:

• Actual status of SIMs
• Calls (dialing, answer, hang up)
• Reported errors (failed dialing, network problems)

How can SNMP remote monitoring system work:
  1. Passively - remote system can periodically check the status

• Number of simultaneous calls
• Length of call
• Information about modules (IMSI, IMEI, signal strength, chosen operator)

  2. Actively - the system sends traps and information about any change

• Dialing a number, answer, hang up
• Plug in / pull out of a SIM
• Registration to a network
• Failed dialing (network error, wrong number, seized modules)
